More than just a net
A physical barrier fitted to the individual site, or the outer layer in a protective system.
The two scenarios
ILLUSTRATION
Scenario 1 · Sacrificial but repairable
Nets that cause explosive airborne, seaborne or underwater drones, including Shahed/Geran-class, to detonate above and away from the intended target. After the explosion, the nets can be repaired.
ILLUSTRATION
Scenario 2 · Impenetrable
Flexible stainless steel cable nets suspended from pylons, steel cables or existing buildings, stopping primarily non-explosive airborne, seaborne or ground based drones.
What the net helps prevent
- Shahed and Geran-class drones, or other drones with similar warhead capability, as part of a multi-layer system
- Commercial drones outfitted with fire or acid bombs
- Commercial drones with drop devices for weapons, phones, cash or drugs
- Reconnaissance drones
- Seaborne and ground based drones
- Ground drones delivered from the air by larger carrier drones
- Kinetic impact of heavier drones, fragments or debris
Solutions are engineered to handle explosions,
kinetic energy, fire and acid.

Materials and lifetime
Stainless steel, unaffected by fire, salt water and moisture, cold, heat and UV light, with a very high tolerance for wear and tear.
Engineered to withstand snow and wind loads as needed. This adds up to a lifespan of 30 years or more.
Suspension
Suspended from pylons, steel cables and existing buildings. Construction details are developed for the individual project.

Is steel too heavy?
Where mobility and low weight come first, CUVAS also delivers nets in advanced synthetic fibres.
We offer very specialised nets in a variety of high-tech fibres such as Kevlar, Technora and other aramid types for high strength and temperature resistance, or in Dyneema (UHMWPE) for super-high strength to weight ratios.
